1. Service Description

OGShot provides an API for programmatic generation of Open Graph (OG) images. The service operates on a credit-based system where each API request consumes one credit.

2. Account & API Keys

  • You must provide accurate information when creating an account
  • You are responsible for keeping your API keys secure
  • Do not share your API keys publicly or commit them to public repositories
  • We may revoke API keys that are found to be compromised or abused

3. Credits & Payments

  • Credits are purchased in advance and deducted per API request
  • Credits do not expire and are non-refundable
  • New accounts receive 100 free credits
  • Prices may change with 30 days notice for future purchases
  • All payments are processed securely through Stripe

4. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use OGShot to generate images containing:

  • Illegal content or content promoting illegal activities
  • Hate speech, harassment, or discriminatory content
  • Malware, phishing, or deceptive content
  • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
  • Spam or automated abuse of the service

We reserve the right to suspend accounts that violate these terms without refund.

5. Rate Limits

API requests are subject to rate limiting to ensure fair usage. Current limits are 100 requests per minute per API key. Exceeding these limits will result in 429 responses.

6. Service Availability

We strive for high availability but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service is provided "as is" without warranties. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions.

7. Intellectual Property

  • You retain ownership of the content you submit (titles, subtitles)
  • Generated images may be used for any lawful purpose
  • OGShot branding may appear on generated images (watermark-free for paid users)
  • The OGShot service, templates, and code remain our property

8. Account Termination

You may delete your account at any time from the dashboard. We may terminate accounts that violate these terms. Upon termination, remaining credits are forfeited.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days notice via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
